Lash Like A Boss

Every once in a while, sometimes I even get to review beauty products!

This time I get to review Maybelline's New Mascara called "The Colossal Big Shot"!

Lash Like A Boss, Maybelline, Influenster, Vox Box, Holidays, Make up, make up review, product review, tom boys wear make up too, Via Bella, beauty blogger, mama

It claims that 8 out of 10, or 80%, of people saw bigger bolder volume. It is suppose to be fully loaded on one coat (and not many as some of us know).

It also is suppose to be waterproof which is a huge benefit as we cross from fall to winter and we get a mix bag of weather. Less worries about it getting all over your face.

I was actually very pleasantly surprised by the product. I am normally a tom boy and wear minimal make up. When I do wear make up, mascara is a staple! It can make your eyes pop out, especially mine because I have hazel eyes, and instantly look more feminine without it being so blatantly different from who you are as a person.

So when I got the chance to review it, it was a simple, "why not?"

I honestly forgot how long my lashes where until I used this mascara.

The other mascaras I had been using apparently weren't doing their jobs right! You can't see it as easily in the college picture above, so I am going to post another one...

Even with the glasses on, you can see the extended length of the mascara. That is impressive and not easy to do. A lot of the times with glasses, you don't see the mascara or the extra length that mascaras are suppose to do to make your eyes stand out.

The other nice thing is that it did not clump on me. A lot of lash extending mascaras can do this. Making putting mascara on a small feat in of itself.

I dabbed on, with my finger, some beige eye shadow on the whole lid. Then I put some pale rose eye shadow with my finger on the lower part of the eye lid. Then mascara. Then chap stick and a pink lipstick.

I was going out to go ice skating and nothing says holiday like natural make up and a dress.

After you are suppose to take make up off, I fell asleep... I know, bad, right? But when I woke up I didn't look like a skunk so that was much appreciated and I still had some beauty left from the mascara left! Bonus.

Definitely a make up I am glad I got to review... because this mama needs to dress up and doll up a little more... even if I am a tom boy. You can't deny it makes one feel pretty to do so.

* I received the product in exchange for my honest review*
