Father Son Monster Time: Day 20 (Thankfulness Project 365)

I am thankful for those moments in life that happen with kids that make you smile.
Despite the many screams and taunts and messes in my house today, this was a great moment.

My kids each decided to make themselves into a monster with dad.

"Daddy, can I get in your shirt and be a monster?" our daughter says.

"Sure," says daddy.

So begins the next 30 minutes of pure fun and angst between the kids waiting to take turns.

"Daddy, go, rawr!"

"Daddy, let's have 2 heads, and 3 arms....go this way...no that way.... ok!"

For a few spare moments in the day, there is no yelling, screaming, fighting, and there is just fun.

Now, onto the question....

When is it mommy's turn to be the fun parent?
