Okay, I am going to be honest and say that I didn't know how I was going to feel about this book. But yet even a few pages in and I want to meet and be friends with this author. She is absolutely hysterical while she is able to tell you the truth.
Let's face it…. That is refreshing as hell!
Her writings are easy to read, will make you laugh and are full of the truth. She picks on both Republicans and Democrats alike.
She also inserts her stories from growing up in with her writing.
I think that's clearly her writing shows that you could put politics in humour together and still look at it with an even-keeled perspective.
This is not only a good book for just put on a coffee table but I think that this can give most people our perspective into the issues occurring in our government today that is presented in a way that anyone can understand in a non-partisan way (at least the best way one can be). Given the times of the climate that we are in right now, that's a really hard thing to achieve and I think that Kristen did that.
What is going on right now is nothing short of an internal war on every political issue and everyone feeling like they have to take a side rather than looking at the issue itself. This book is such a great reminder and a humorous way that we have to look at stuff from a common sense perspective rather than a war perspective.

When we look at things in terms of winning or losing especially when it comes to political issues that affect laws and country that is when we ultimately lose all together.

She covers anything in here from education to how people spend their money to free will to education to Social Security. And I think that's really helpful because those are issues that have permeated throughout time and are coming to a head at this point, especially in a Global Perspective.
Overall I have to give this a 5 out of 5 and in fact I would say we give this is 6 out of 5 because it is that darn good.
Please do not forget to enter to win this book because I guarantee that no one no matter what sign on the fence that you are on you are going to really enjoy this book and it's going to Enlighten you and a very light-hearted but what's realistic and heavy way. I hope one day to meet her and make friends with her she's awesome.

Book Description:
With humor and a modern perspective, young conservative journalist Kristin Tate points out what's broken in our government and shows readers how they can fix it.
Passionate and politically involved 24 year-old Kristin Tate worries that her fellow millennials, and even 40-something elders, have become politically ambivalent and brainwashed into accepting big government ideology--instead of thinking for themselves. But it's not too late to take on the status quo. Tate's fresh political action handbook, GOVERNMENT GONE WILD, is for a new generation of voters who, like her, are irked that they will be paying for this out-of-control government their entire working lives; and know that if America is to retain stability and liberty, it's going to be up to them to make sure government is working again. Smart, irreverent, and yes, hip, Tate shows readers on both sides of the aisle that politics isn't just vital to their future-it's a fun way to agitate the entitled political establishment.
