Oh Susannah!!

We are going to get into my daughter reviewing Carole P. Roman books and collections by Carole P. Roman

It's in the Bag Review: {Amazon Link to the Book Here}

There once was a girl named Susannah and she had a hard time doing her homework (like me) so she stuffed it in her bag and she didn’t finish her food  so she put it in the bag and so on and so on when she got home from school she stuffed her bag under her bed and when she woke up the whole thing exploded and with her parents she  had solved her problem.

I like this book because the work is detailed enough that it is interesting and intriguing and not boring but simple enough that you could understand it. It is the detail in the simple idea of the book for kids is just amazing and it is by far the best kids book I have ever read. It is also easy to relate to and is just so understandable whether you are an adult or a kid.

I would recommend this to 7 to 9-year-olds even though anyone can read and enjoy it because it is more enjoyable at that age as well as it is better introducing them to big chapter books.I think that is all so until the next review bye!

In the beginning of the book, there is a girl named Susannah and she is afraid of her friend's house because she thinks there is a ghost and the house has many creepy things like doors creaking and spiders. Then she has an invitation to a sleepover and she has to go so at first when she arrived she thought that it was really scary but then she got used to it. Finally, she finds out that it was a surprise party for her and that they were celebrating her birthday and she had a good time.

I think it is a really good book just not my reading level. Something that makes it good is that they show Susannah as someone normal like you or me that is keeping secrets of how she felt because she did not want to hurt anyone's feelings. She overcomes her fear and because of all that we can relate to her and know how she feels. Another thing that makes it great is that it has pictures so that you can know what it looks like but still leave some space for imagination for what everything else looks like so that it is a balance. The only thing I don’t like is that it is too short of a book for me because I read at a higher level.

I would recommend it to 7 to 9-year-olds and will recommend it to many of my smaller friends. This is a book with great wording and plot and I think anyone between those ages will enjoy this great book.

This was such a cute little colouring book. I plan to give to my daughter as part of her Easter basket.
I love that this is a colouring book that tells a story that isn't too easy nor too complicated.

Overall I really like these books because I gave my daughter the assignment of doing thorough reviews for the products/books herself. This is perfect for English and Literature and writing
ccourses altogether.

These are also great to read for younger kids with parents.
