I am thankful for email.
Unpractical, no.
Think about it.
When you have a thought to get off your chest, you need to schedule an appointment, you need to get ahold of your loved one miles away and the phone won't work. How about when you are thousands of miles away and can't seem to reach someone because of busy schedules but you need to let them know how much you care. Email is there!
I am thankful for that modern technology as jaded and political as it can get, it can sometimes mend things that can't be otherwise.
Something that came about when I was a kid but was not really widely used until high school or college.
Is that not crazy to think about?
So much has changed since growing up- you no longer have to wait for someone by the phone to communicate.
You can learn more about the history of email, but isn't it cool when you really think about it?
