Yes, apparently there is an actual day for it! Yay for pumpkin lovers to be brought to the dark side of what pumpkin can do to spice up your day or night! Haha.

Actually, to give you a laugh, because my little one melted down right after dinner I wanted to dedicate the name of the drink to him... called Pump-Kin lol! A way to pump me up after putting my kin to bed! All mama's out there know what I mean!
After seeing Starbucks take advantage of the autumnal fruit, why not transform for it from a fancy coffee drink that wakes you up in the morning to something that will help put you to bed at night? It is like all pumpkin all the time!
What I love about this is the fact that I seriously made this up on the fly after realising it was apparently National Vodka Day... Like, who knew there was a day for it?! I didn't. News to me. So not celebrating it would really just be wrong...

Mix some alcohol to celebrate with some healthy components, all that vitamin C in the pumpkin and apple juice.... Okay, I know that is a stretch! But hey...
So join me in celebrating (as I write this as I am drinking it, so I can attest to it's awesome yummy factor and I am pumpkin-picky) both Vodka Day and Pumpkin season!

Recipe:
4 tsp of pumpkin puree
4 tsp of apple juice
(mix until it is more more liquified)
add a splash of cinnamon
add a splash of ginger powder
add a splash of nutmeg
now for the alcohol itself...
2 parts vodka
1 part coconut rum
1 part apple juice
Mix it all together and what do you have?
A pumpkin spice vodka drink!
Because the perfect time to enter a giveaway for a baby book is when you are making pumpkin alcoholic drinks... Hahaha... but you know you want to!!
