My Review:

While the animation is well done, the movie is too long, especially for young audiences. They try to cram too many ideas and values into the movie without a lot of contextual story to it. For some, it will be a movie they enjoy. However, to my family and I, we did not like it at all. There are gems in the movie and that they have good analogies. Like the man in the cage who is old who spent his life in there because he had "no hope" and when Christian was a long his journey, he remembered that man and that was his key out of the cage he was in.

But other than a few moments here and there, it was too much. Too much insinuation, like giving people names of ideas or theologies or kinds of people. I don't know why but that really bothered me because it didn't make it an actual story and like a video that was obvious to convert.

It's a good movie for Easter-- for Christians only.  And even some Christians won't like this movie. I can promise that.

While I am doing a giveaway for a movie and book, when we get the book, I will likely gift it to a friend of mine who is more hardcore Christian than I or even put it in a free little library. My kids sat down with me to watch them and they ALL stated they hated it. And they don't just hate movies.

Therefore, due to the lack of what we look for in movies, we don't like this or recommend this movie. However, who knows, you may like it. So don't take our word for it!
