My friend sells these and is one of those people who sales LipSense. I have actually stayed clear of ordering because I didn't know a lot about the product nor do I give myself the luxury of spending more than a few dollars per make up piece. Not only am I supporting her but it looks REALLY good too right?
Normally, I am not one to dive into cosmetics for sharing here. But I had to share my experience with this one. Not only did my friend Stephanie McKay *NOT* try to get me to sell anything under her, she *CARED* about my choices- even the wackiest one to try Violet Volt.
Violet Volt was just calling my name. It was between that and one she had personally recommended as one to use as a classic. But, if you know me, either in life or through readership, you know I do like to not just normal. That makes life boring.
But this colour? Wow. It actually scared me to do this. It was for sure stepping out of a comfort zone.
Stephanie not only encouraged me to do it, she got it to me by my birthday so I could wear it on my birthday with pride in who I was.
I have to say, it definitely gave me a confidence booster and it was a great way to brighten up, quite literally, a birthday that was ridden with a lot of emotional ups and downs. Mostly downs. And this was a bright point.
To wear this, I did some yellow and baby blue eyeshadow and that's it. It was a great compliment to bring out the colour of the lip shade.
I rocked it and turned quite a few heads I am sure. But I mostly turned my own. I owned my beauty and it forced me to see the beauty that I am.
