Also, I felt my daughter would and could use inspiration for her girl scout sleep over that is coming up soon. She has been wanting to have friends over for a sleep over for a while. She knows she is getting this book for Easter and she is stoked about picking the book. Also, I am not super girly by nature, (don't be fooled by the fact that I sometimes wear make up and own dresses because I don't remember the last time I wore one), so this will be helpful for her.
I really like this book because it is done in magazine style for the girls and gives GREAT ideas for sleepovers, get together, and more for girls. Parents, it is also age appropriate! SO important with what the kids are learning or gaining access to this days.
Easy to read and breeze through when you are a pinch. Mama may be taking it for ideas as well when I get together with people or when I need an ice breaker for my girl scout meetings!
This will be my first "Via Bella's Top Books" for kids! I am exited about that!
It will tell you the time it takes, which will be interesting to test that theory on many girls at a sleepover. I have 46 girls in my troop and it will be definitely interesting especially depending on how many come to the sleepover.
Here are just (10) some of the ideas it gives.
1) Book Swap
2) Take a Bitty Vaca
3) Become a Voice over Pro
4) Create an Abstract Self Portrait
5) Throw a Just Because Surprise
6) Do a Wardrobe Makeover
7) Become Fit Friends Forever
8) Host a pop up blog
9) Dream up a Flash Mob Sing a long
10) Top Secret Scavenger Hunt
This is going to be part of my daughter's Easter present! I can't wait to see her face when I give it to her! (Now I have to find two books for my boys!) I hear some quality mum and daughter time coming soon!
