At first, I was like, "okay, I am getting to try to a deodorant. This ought to be fun."
I live in Washington D.C. where the humidity is just starting to drum up. Needless to say without saying too much, deodorant does not last very long when it gets in the heat of summer. I even can get self conscious about it. So I was not sure how this was going to work.
Here are 5 reasons why you should try to the new Dove Dry Spray.
#1 Last 48 hours
I was stunned- but it works! It actually works! Who knew? This is nice because I am a parent on the go and constantly having to lead youth and get my grind on for school. I can't wait to give it a real go when it comes to doing events as the humidity in Washington D.C. rises and if it does work, I will likely become a loyal customer.
#2 Non Irritating
It is not that bad actually. Normally when you think of can spray things you think "omg, it is going to be gassy and I am going to smell it when I spray it" but this was not like that. Clearly I don't use a lot of can spray stuff and may have been tainted growing up with hairsprays. LOL.
#3 User Friendly and Pretty Packaging
It has a rubber tip to use and it's kind of cute that you want to use it. It smells good- the flavour is called "cool essentials" which is pretty much cucumber. Smells very nice. It goes on easy. Has a cap to prevent from accidental spraying. Two thumbs up in how it looks and feels.#4 Portable
It is not like the stick deodorant but it is portable. The biggest thing is to be smart about having it not in the heat or leaving it in the car. Use it smart.
#5 Can Lasts for 2 months!
This is a long time for something from a can. If you are like me, buying something that lasts a long time is worth it because in the long run it is cheaper.
Of course, it being a spray is both a positive and negative for me (I don't generally do spray things for environmental reasons but I really like this). But other than that, I really like it! I was pleasantly surprised.
