Anyways, I was looking up ways to make Fidget Spinners because I am a huge DIY (do it yourself) fan because instead of just buying a fidget spinner, my children can learn STEM by building one themselves. And it may also become the next craft project for my girl scout troop in a few weeks.
Let's admit it, right here and right now, that mum wants to make one as well! Not even going to lie on that one.
So to You Tube I went to find some pretty cool videos that I spent a long time looking up to find how to make them. I hope you enjoy.
The hope is to make this a craft we can do it girl scouts too, so I am super excited about that!
Note: Some of these creations need a bearing and some do not-- one of the video gives you an idea of where you can find bearings if you don't want to buy them.
What is a bearing? It's the part that goes into the middle of the wheel on a skateboard or scooter that helps your wheel spin as you go down hill.
This mum totally approves of taking apart old scooters to make this happen-- because that is how I got the bearings for my family's fidget spinner projects!
