Come As You Aren't

What an enticing title, right? I would totally come to this post because that is an awesome title. And like it is an awesome title, that is the same thing that drew me into review this cute little game.

The idea is to spark some adventure into current relationships with helping out a little bit with the who, what and where. This is such a cute idea.

I find that some of these things are cutesy kind of fun and other things are more like hardcore that you would need consent for from your partner. So I think even if you do this game, proceed with knowing that you need to use your common sense. Don't blindfold your date an hour in if they are the one driving, right? Some basic common sense goes a long way.

I think my favourite part of the game is the Who. The cards go deeper than the "where" and "what" in the sense that they give you the background of "who" you are role-playing. That is a crucial part to role-playing. That way when you get the one or two words in the "where" and "what" you can better act out and have fun with the whole adventure. Though if you just want to play with one or two cards instead of all three, I am sure you can do that as well.

The games with 20 cards of who, what and where. It also comes with an envelope with "Your Eyes Only" written on it. Then there is another little pad of paper for the date, time and address. I am surprised it didn't come with a cutesy pen or something. That would definitely up the cute factor. The box is very sturdy and unlike most boxes, while small, is magnetized a little bit to make sure the box stays together. I guess their thinking is that you will be using this a lot.

You can carry in your bag if you want and it's small and sturdy. So it can be a fun addition to the pack.

I personally would give it 3.5 to 4 out of 5.

I wasn't super duper impressed by it even though I really like it. I felt there were small things that could have added to the game personally. However, for beginners, this is great and simple and not overwhelming.

About the Book:

"This simple role-playing kit will help couples experiment, improvise, and seduce in ways they never would have otherwise imagined. To use the set, one partner draws a Who, a What, and a Where card at random, puts them in an envelope, and then gives the envelope for their partner or leaves it for him or her. From there, it's up to them to enact the scenarios as they see fit. The instructions are printed on back cover of the slipcase and each deck comes with a few blank cards to customize."
