Something that is intriguing about this movie is that fact that parenting in the 21st century is hard- let's just face it. There are different things that different parental generations have struggled with and for ours, there is a myriad of them. There is always something to worry about whether it is safety, internet, social expectations, amongst other things. So to say that I am intrigued by this movie by what it says is true. Even if it shows as Christian based in the synopsis.
We all have parenting shames-- whether we think we do or not. Whether we vocalise it or not.
The proposal, in the beginning, is beautiful! It is very relatable on a woman level.
I really liked this way of reviewing movies actually since I can pause when I need to. AND I can do it my PJs. Okay, I am not really in my PJs, but still. You get the idea.

This makes me feel like I am not the only one and it's so relatable to all parents-- this shows that there is a reality not shown sometimes in parenting which I appreciate. Especially with those that are of faith. Sometimes we forget that the social standard of perfection is not only unrealistic it is crushing many mothers with anxiety and stress. Although some of the moments were I am sure benign in what sometimes happens in reality, it definitely brings up things.
Wow, there were parts of the movie that had goosebumps on my arms. Regardless of my faith, or lack, therefore, there is some powerful message and showing off some good parenting skills that are helpful.
I don't define my faith right now but I do think that this movie has left a mark for me to be a better parent. So I think it will definitely strike chords regardless of faith if people are willing to listen to an underlying message. I was definitely pleasantly surprised. And I cried. No lie. I don't normally cry. Maybe it was because the fact I have a 12-year-old. I can't imagine him graduating high school let alone getting married. And that alone makes it tear jerking for any parents.Like breathtaking, really. It goes by way too fast.

I actually really want this on DVD, which I wasn't sure I was going to be able to say before I watched this movie, honestly. Like, I want to share it with my MOPS mums, who I think will all love it. I was very surprised how much I actually liked this movie despite my shake in any faith right now and it was great.
So I thin that you will be plesantely surprised and like it too.
