I can't even say enough good things that we LOVED about this! It is intended for any student from 5th to 10th grade but my 4th grader LOVED it and my 1st grader was actually quite jealous of his big sister for being able to learn coding.
The only complaint I think my daughter or I would have is that we wanted more! It was that good. Honestly.
They were amazing and what sets this programme apart is that they are doing this LIVE for the kids. You can ask questions, they help along with any issues, they were great with the kids. My daughter picked up how to do it quickly and that human connection, even if just online, was a huge part of it.
I want to sit and do this too as a mum. My daughter LOVED doing it. My son wanted to do it so bad too. He may have gotten a tad bit jealous and upset because he didn't get to do it. But he for sure will get to it, eventually.
As a girl scout leader, I have to say, seeing girls doing STEM is SUPER important to me. Especially when it is something that the child can get excited about.
How excited?
I had a HARD TIME pulling the child away from doing HTML coding for her comic! She spent quite the time on it for the afternoon editing and perfecting the imagery and story. It even encouraged her to start writing her own story on her writing assignment (she gave herself).

Today I will be reviewing Codewizard and let me tell you right now- I love this program so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so very much. Hello, I’m Via and let me tell you how very cool and amazing this is. Codewizard is a program that gives knowledge of coding in a way I think is really cool, as a beginner, they start you off with making a comic. Step by step you learn how to make the comic different, this is the one I made: https://viae.codewizardshq.com/intro/story.html So as you can see you can change the background, characters, text, etc. This program helps the world of coding get more voice and helps bring in this new skill that you never knew you had and, and just... gets your brain wired to a different flow of imagination.
This paragraph was going to be about what I like… but I like everything so far so I decided to do it on the things that I want to learn more about.To put two characters in one scene, Change the bg.jpg (the background, that’s the big one with the superhero and city, the one behind the comic.)Learn to code a robot, Learn to code a website, Learn to code a game, And to Learn to code to chat with others and etc.
This is who I would recommend it to. I would say 4th grade to being an adult depending. I would recommend this to people that want to learn more about things not noticed and to people that want to expand their knowledge or anyone really. I that is all for now, bye!
