Win These 3 Art Journals {Worth $51}

Illuminate Your Story ($19)::

Pros:
* Embossied
* Has a place to hold your pen on the outside of your journal
* Has a close clasp
* Has an introduction that talking about how illuminated manuscripts derived from using gold and silver decor within texts and often used by monks or scribes. This is a cool fact and they go more into that.
* Goes through the History of Illuminated Letters in two pages. It's actually quite fascinating. Who knew? There is the Insular, Carolingian, Ottonian, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance.
* They have even a supply list and a "how to use this journal" page for you to use
*  You get to practice each letter in two different styles where they walk through step by step how to do it, then create your own from scratch
* There is two journal pages between each learning "session"
* On the journal pages, at the top there is a quote but there is no prompt so you can write what is on your mind.
* PERFECT for homeschoolers, actually. What a great way to combine teaching art and free writing.
* PERFECT for mums-- we can get some time to ourselves to learn something new in a quick setting and then journal a little bit.
* PERFECT for anybody-- really. It can be used by anyone and I know so many people who love it.
* Has a ribbon built in so you can keep your space
* You have a keepsake pocket at the end of the book

Cons:
* Honestly, none.

The Illustrated Word ($16)

Pros:
* Embossied cover
* hardcovered
* A journal
* A colouring page with each journal entry
* Great paper quality
* Perfect Christmas Present
* Would say this is best for a young adult
* Great for those that have Christian background and especially with history as well as they would more likely enjoy the journal
* Perfect for winter time

Cons:
* This is not as universal as the first but still able to gift to lots of people
* Definitely more geared towards older kids or adults as the photos to colour are more intricate.

Faith & Lettering Journal ($16)

Pros:
* Embossied Cover
* Spot for pencil or pen on the outside of the journal
* The author/book maker acknowledges something profound-- creativity and spirituality go hand in hand
* Has quotes in it next to journal page-- that you can but don't have to, use as a writing prompt
* There are art pages to learn cursive writing-- because let's be honest, how many of us do it now and days?
* Random graph paper pages in a journal-- that's new-- and creative!
* Pages like "Forgiveness Matters" where all it says is that-- and two pages of journalling-- what do you do with that?
* Practice different letter stylings from scratch-- you know, those pretty ones that you can use on posters without having to use the computer!

Cons:
* While I really like this book, there are bible verses in it which just limits who this can reach-- because it's a very cool and unique kind of journal!

Now, I get to give this away... TWICE! Now, and next month in December for my 12 days of Christmas giveaways!
