This was something I was very excited to review since a lot of schools, let's be honest-- pull up a chair and cup of coffee -- leave handwriting and cursive completely out of the lesson plan. This is incredibly determinantal to children. Not just to their handwriting skills themselves, but to their learning experience. There is an important thing that happens when kids can write down notes from a class, or write a beautiful Christmas letter, that is much better for retention rather than just typing it on a computer. Hence, while I have pieces of paper all around my house with my to-do list that never ends on it!

Finding something that hits beyond just basics is important.

Just like math and science, the way that you teach a child to write is SO important.

That's why when I was given this review, I was not just pleased as a parent and teacher, but I was over the moon. It didn't over complicate it and didn't make it super easy either. It surpassed my expectations.

My daughter LOVED the book and was willing to learn. She even loved the drawing book that practised cursive in a few artistic way. Which actually has a historical context in terms of the fact that it's not the first time it has been used to make art. But it's the first time I have seen, in all the books I have reviewed, seen it done for learning context and made especially for kids.

I saw her cursive dramatically improve very quickly and so as parent and teacher, I am very impressed!

Here is what my 4th grader thought:

"The cursive logic book is one of a kind and is really easy to understand as well as the fact that it improved my handwriting significantly and I believe that I will continue to do better.

I like that it is easy to learn and understand as well as it is detailed so you know what is that you have to do and it is so so relaxing as well.

I would recommend this to 8 to 14 depending of course because some are smarter or less fortunate than others and also that skillfull and less skilfull."
