Other Troops (both Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts) here is the information from the site directly with the requirements and resources!
@allaboutscouts will be sharing FREE Patch Programs & Resources here. So if you know of any, don't forget to be a sister/brother to other scouts, and let me know so we can share them! You can comment below and let me know!
DEA will award a Red Ribbon Patch and Certificate of Participation to the first 15,000 qualifying Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts! Check out the patch requirements below for items you'll need to complete the program.
@allaboutscouts ideas to fulfil the community requirements:
1) Have the kids make a flier about being drug-free and use the flier when the scouts do Scouting for Food (see post here about it and feel free to share too)
2) Make a community video in your troop meeting or den meeting to share. (Make sure you have parent permission). If you do, don't forget to check out signing up to be Scout of the Day and we will share it!
3) When you talk about Halloween safety, have the scouts make charts about understanding why parents should check their candy and why.
