Summer Camp SIGN UP & INFO BELOW

We are excited to share with you that Cub Scout Summer Camp registration is now open! This year, Pack 33 Scouts will be going to Camp Saffran, part of the Broad Creek Scout Reservation. Our group will be attending August 9 - 11, 2019 (Friday through Sunday). Founded in 1948, Camp Saffran is part of 1688 acres of forests and wetlands north of the Baltimore metropolitan area, and hosts one of the first Cub Scout camps in the nation. Our Scouts will have three action-packed days of Scouting fun at their beautiful facility in Whiteford, MD. All activities are targeted for younger scouts and include a variety of wonderful outdoor activities and educational opportunities. Camp is open to current and future scouts who WILL BE IN 1st, 2nd or 3rd Grade in the FALL. (Older Scouts go to Camp Ross).  For more information on Camp Saffran and their Summer camp programs, visit http://www.broadcreekbsa.org/summer-camp/oest/45338.

To register, please fill out this online form:

The “Early Bird” registration fee is $190 per Scout and $70 per Adult. Registration for all of those attending (adults and scouts) is due by February 22, and full payment is due by March 30. Non-scouting siblings may attend but will require an additional registration fee.

Pack 33 is 100% committed to sending all of its scouts to Camp Saffran who wish to attend. We understand that it is a significant financial commitment and may be a stretch for some families. Therefore, every year, the Pack offers up to 100%  financial aid to cover the cost of Summer camp. If you would like to request financial assistance, please register as normal using the form link above, and follow up with your Den leader by e-mail so we can determine how the Pack can best help.

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we need full participation from parents and scouts. By running the carnival, our kids have the opportunity to demonstrate a number of Cub Scout values (trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind). Plus - it’s GREAT FUN!!  In addition, this fundraiser allows us to offer great programming like campouts and the Pinewood Derby and to provide camperships and dues assistance to families whose children would not otherwise be able to participate.
